The City of Pearland will host its annual “Summerfest” concert series beginning Friday, May 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Southdown Park. Concerts are held every Friday night during the months of May and June and provide area residents with free access to live music in a family-friendly environment.
This year’s lineup features bands from across the musical spectrum, with offerings for every musical taste including Rock, Country, Tejano, Zydeco, Blues and more. Featured performers include Hamilton Loomis, The Fab 5, Zueldo, Kelly McGuire, Rat Ranch, Bayou Roux, Mango Punch, the Jonathan Fox Band and the Texas Unlimited Band.
Summerfest will kick off the series with the Tejano sounds of Zueldo. In addition to live music, Summerfest patrons can enjoy the Southdown Park playground and splash pad, walk their dogs in the adjacent dog park or have a picnic in the park. Free parking is available on park property.
