Pearland City Council recently approved a resolution expressing support of the installation of 8 direct connect lanes to go from 288 to Beltway 8 without using the frontage roads. Direct Connections allow for immediate merging between highways without exiting. This is a TxDOT managed project and the new resolution supports that TxDOT include the direct connectors in the project. To read the complete resolution, click on the link below:
