The Parks & Recreation Department and the Wildflower Program have chosen the Trails at the John Hargrove Environmental Complex to be home to a Texas Wildflower Meadow. The Wildflower Program is working to bring the beauty of native Texas flora and fauna to several parks in Pearland. The meadow will preserve plant life and animal communities and create a colorful natural area for citizens and visitors to enjoy.

This November, the John Hargrove Environmental Complex site was planted with a variety of native wildflowers at the intersection of our walking trails behind the complex.
