Dr. Orlea Receives Prestigious ASPA Award
The American Society for Public Administration, ASPA, in recognition of lifetime contributions, scholarship and dedication to the public service and public administration, presented the Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Exemplary Practice Award, presented to individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to a more equal society, will be given to Dr. Christopher Orlea of the City of Pearland, Texas.
The American Society for Public Administration is the largest and most prominent professional association for public administration. It is dedicated to advancing the art, science, teaching and practice of public and non-profit administration.
ASPA maintains a robust national awards program, featuring more than 20 different awards. Individuals may apply for awards or nominate others each fall when the nomination process opens. Most awards are presented during ASPA's Annual Conference each spring.
