Hotel & Restaurant Job Fair Set for June 27

The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, will host a Hotel & Restaurant Job Fair on Wednesday, June 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Westside Event Center, 2150 Country Place Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77581. 

Interested job applicants can meet face-to-face with hiring managers and decision makers for top Pearland hotels and restaurants at this free event. Applicants will have an opportunity to learn more about a variety of entry-level positions. 

The hospitality industry plays an important role in the Pearland economy with eleven name-brand hotels and a variety of restaurant and retail businesses stimulating dollars in the local market.

“We’re happy to feature our local partners at this unique event designed for job applicants to learn more about the offerings we have in Pearland,” according to Kim Sinistore, executive director of the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau. 

Applicants do not need to pre-register and are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to the event.

The Convention & Visitors Bureau in Pearland is a division within the City Of Pearland, City Manager’s Office. The role of the Convention & Visitors Bureau is to promote and coordinate tourist related activity within the City of Pearland. To accomplish this mission, the Convention & Visitors Bureau is responsible for the promotion of hotel rooms and convention attendance within the City; works with tourist related organizations within the City to coordinate marketing, advertising, promotion and programming; works with State and regional organizations which are responsible for the promotion of the region, and works to coordinate activities within City Government which directly or indirectly impact tourism.
