Have a Spook-tacular Night at Pearland’s Trick or Treat Trail
Come as you aren’t! The City of Pearland invites residents to the 17th Annual Trick or Treat Trail on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Independence Park located at 3449 Pearland Parkway. The Trick or Treat Trail is a free event that aims to provide the community with an alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
Local businesses and organizations will create a “trail” along park grounds. As trick or treaters stroll through the trail, members of these local businesses and organizations will hand out treats, candy and other goodies.
Trick or Treat Trail’s fang-tastic evening will include strolling entertainment and monster mash music. Huge, costumed dinosaurs will also trudge through the trail, and food vendors will provide plenty for guests to eat, drink, and be scary. For kids ages 12 and under—whether they’re dressed to fright or delight—there will be a costume contest, beginning at 6 p.m. on the Independence Park stage.
Trick or Treat trail was historically held at the Pearland Recreation Center and Natatorium; this year, however, the event will take place at the newly renovated Independence Park. Onsite parking available, but limited, additional parking is at the Searcy Ninth Grade Center.
