PEARLAND, TEXAS – September 22 – In response to severe rain from Tropical Depression Beta The Mayor of the City of Pearland has signed a disaster proclamation regarding the imminent weather threat of Tropical Depression Beta flooding both roadways and structures.

With potential severe injury and/or damage to personal property the Mayor proclaims a local state of disaster effective immediately for Pearland’s residents. The declaration comes as Tropical Depression Beta sends waves of rain across the City of Pearland causing street and stream flooding.
