PEARLAND, TEXAS – July 30 – Improvements are on the way for many intersections in the Shadow Creek Ranch community after City Council recently awarded a contract for Professional Design Services to Traffic Engineers, Inc. to address road safety and congestion challenges that come with continued development and business growth in the area.

The design phase of the Intersection Improvements in Shadow Creek Ranch project is anticipated to take 12 months to complete, with 100 percent construction drawings expected to be submitted to the City by July 2022.

Among the intersection improvements will be the installation of dual left turn lanes at several intersections along Shadow Creek Parkway, traffic signals at major intersections along Kingsley Drive and Kirby Drive and a round-about at Memorial Hermann Drive and Business Center Drive.

The Intersection Improvements in Shadow Creek Ranch project is funded by Certificates of Obligation that will be reimbursed by Pearland Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 2.
