PEARLAND, TEXAS – September 20 – Release the leashes! The City of Pearland is debuting Ruff Runner & Yappy Hour, a paw-pular pet-themed race for all ages. Run with or without your four-legged friend and enjoy the post-race Yappy Hour, presented by Vallenson’s Brewing Company. The race will take place on Saturday, September 25 at Independence Park, 3449 Pearland Parkway, from 7-10 a.m.
The kids’ 1K will kick the races off, followed by the 3K and 5K races. Dogs are welcome to participate with their owners for the 1k and 3k. Pre-registration is encouraged and onsite registration will be offered on the day of the race, beginning at 7 a.m. Please note, chip-timing will only be available to runners who have pre-reregistered.
All participants will receive a finishers’ medal, and the top adult finishers in the 3k and 5k will be announced following the conclusion of the 5k race.
