The Planning Department is dedicated to shaping a thriving, well-balanced Pearland through careful short- and long-range planning. By administering the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Code, we work to ensure land use decisions enhance community character, protect property values, and promote the health, safety, and welfare of our residents.

We process and review Zone Change, Variance and Plat applications.

Our staff provides professional recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council, helping guide decisions on development, land use, and growth that align with Pearland’s long-term goals.
