For Private Development Activities
Below is a list of cases that require notification to surrounding property owners to be considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission, City Council, and/or Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Attendance
All residents and property owners of Pearland are welcome to attend the meetings and voice their support or opposition in a particular case. If you wish to speak at the meeting about a specific issue that is being discussed, please arrive early to the meeting and fill out the provided form upon arrival. A time limit of 3 minutes is given to each registered speaker.
Unable to Attend?
If you cannot attend but still wish to express your support or opposition, please fill out the public comment form above and submit before 12 p.m. on the day of the hearing. Public comment forms completed after the deadline might not be seen by the commission.
House Bill 1522: Effective 9/1/2025
The notice of a meeting of a governmental body must be posted in a place readily accessible to the general public at all times for at least three business days before the scheduled date of the meeting
Information regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission will be posted on the Tuesday before the Monday night hearing.
Information regarding the Zoning Board of Adjustment will be posted on the Friday before the Thursday night hearing.
