Below is a list of cases that require notification to surrounding property owners before consideration by the Planning and Zoning Commission, City Council, and/or Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Meeting Attendance
All residents and property owners of Pearland are welcome to attend meetings and voice support or opposition to a case. If you wish to speak about a specific agenda item, please arrive early and complete a speaker form upon arrival. Each registered speaker is allowed three minutes.
Unable to Attend?
If you cannot attend but would still like to express support or opposition, submit the Public Comment Form before 12:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing. Forms submitted after the deadline may not be reviewed before the meeting.
House Bill 1522 – Effective September 1, 2025
Notice of a governmental meeting must be posted in a location readily accessible to the general public for at least three business days before the scheduled meeting date.
Information regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission will be posted on the Tuesday before the Monday night hearing.
Information regarding the Zoning Board of Adjustment will be posted on the Friday before the Thursday night hearing.
