- Installation and Technical Requirements:
- The pressure sensor must be delivered with the pressure transducer preconnected to the data recorder and fully calibrated.
- A burial-grade antenna is required. Meter boxes must be plastic or concrete — metal enclosures are not permitted due to interference with signal transmission.
- The data recorder is typically enclosed in a meter box for protection and accessibility.
- The pressure tap must be installed directly on the main waterline, not from a hydrant connection.
