Purpose
The purpose of Pearland Public Works is to continually improve the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance and management of the City's infrastructure; to provide reliable quality service to our customers, and to provide support service to other City departments.
Services to the Community
Pearland Public Works provide a varying range of services to the community, including but not limited to:
- Street and sidewalk maintenance
- Traffic signal operation and maintenance
- Pavement marking and traffic signage maintenance
- Right-of-way management
- Asset management
- Stormwater system maintenance and management
- Landscape maintenance
To request assistance with a Public Works related emergency, you can contact us at 281.652.1900. This line is monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Some examples of a Public Works related emergencies:
- Traffic light out-of-service
- Stop sign pole down
- Manhole lid missing
- Debris in the road impeding traffic flow
- Impassable roads due to high water or related drainage obstruction
