2019 Bond Election

There will be a bond election held on May 4th, 2019. The election options will be five separate propositions:

  1. Proposition A - $28,498,000 for drainage improvements and facilities
  2. Proposition B - $34,816,000 for street improvements
  3. Proposition C - $2,500,000 for parks and recreation purposes
  4. Proposition D - $12,875,000 for a new animal shelter and adoption center
  5. Proposition E - $1,300,000 for a fire department training burn building

Important Dates:

April 22, 2019 – First day for Early Voting by personal appearance
April 30, 2019 – Last day for Regular Early Voting by personal appearance
May 13, 2019 – OFFICIAL CANVASS BY CITY COUNCIL, 6:00 p.m. Mayor issues CERTIFICATES OF ELECTION to persons elected and/or Runoff Election is called
