Emergencies and disasters can happen at any time.

Are you and your family prepared?

From flood events to hurricanes, to hard freezes and utility outages, one can never be overprepared for emergencies, disasters, and hazard events.

In Pearland, severe weather-- including hurricanes, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and winter storms-- can threaten life and property with flooding, strong winds, errant debris, and utility shortcomings. Knowing your risk alone can help you and your family prepare for any kind of event.

Severe weather risks in Pearland include hurricanes and extreme heat in the summer, winter storms in the winter, and flooding throughout the year, depending on the severity of a given storm

From there, you and your family can take action when the need arises by developing an emergency plan, signing up for e-alerts and following the guidance of local officials on social media and on the news.
