In 2007, the Pearland Trail Master Plan was adopted unanimously by City Council. Its purpose is to establish appropriate policy guidance and direction for the gradual, phased development of a community-wide trail network in Pearland. As a complement to the City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan, this Plan is also ultimately aimed at enhancing livability in the community. It should provide a compelling basis for grant application opportunities, as well as support the City's own capital planning and budgeting processes.
