Activities and Programs
There is something for everyone at the Knapp Center. We encourage you to drop in and take classes, exercise or just socialize with friends. If you play cards (Skip-Bo, Phase 10, Hand and Foot, etc.), dominos or other table games, we offer them all each day for your enjoyment. The center also sponsors trips and hosts educational workshops on a number of topics. All scheduled activities are subject to be changed or canceled. Please call 281.485.9875 for questions.
Lunch is the only meal served at the center and it is provided by ActionS, a Brazoria County organization. To receive a meal, you must be registered with ActionS and be a member of the Knapp Center. Those wishing to utilize the lunch program must also be approved through ActionS in order to receive lunch. The ActionS program requires that you be 60+ years of age and reside in Brazoria County. For more information on ActionS, please stop by the center and schedule an appointment with ActionS site director Debra Fisher or call for an appointment at 281.997.1862. Lunches are served daily at approximately 11:30 a.m. and require a reservation with ActionS by 10 a.m. the day before you plan to have lunch.
