Youth Development offers a variety of programs for early childhood, youth and teens. These programs include categories of education, hobbies & special interest, and health & fitness. A few examples of these quality programs are Wiggles & Giggles, Ballet/Tap, and Bricks 4 Kidz. Staple programs such as summer camps and Adventure Days are also offered by the division.

Camp KIA (Kids in Action) - Click for more info

Cost: $150 resident/ $187.50 non-resident
Age: 6 to 10 years
Location: Pearland Recreation Center & Natatorium, 4141 Bailey Road

Let your kids experience the active, carefree, safe and supportive summer experience every child desires. Camp KIA (Kids In Action) is designed for kids who are seeking a well-rounded camp experience. We offer a safe, supportive environment where campers feel comfortable trying new activities and building new skills. Each camper should bring a sack lunch and two snacks each day to camp. Camp KIA is designed for children that are entering grades 1 - 5. Each camp session will include one field trip, scheduled on Wednesdays, and two pool days, scheduled each Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning at the Natatorium. This program is not licensed by the state; however, it does follow Standards of Care.  Camp Registration begins 2nd Monday in February.

Camp Mahalo - Click for more info
Cost: $160 resident/ $200 non-resident
Age: 11 - 14 years
Location: Pearland Recreation Center & Natatorium, 4141 Bailey Road

In Camp Mahalo, participants will develop skills that last a lifetime, build confidence in their own skills and abilities, and enhance their motivation to make things happen. Participants will also have fun socializing with peers while learning how to be a better leader! Camp Mahalo is designed for children that are entering grades 6 - 9.  Each camp session will include one field trip scheduled on Thursdays, and two-pool day scheduled each Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning at the Natatorium. This program is not licensed by the state; however, it does follow Standards of Care.  Camp Registration begins 2nd Monday in February.

Adventure Days – Thanksgiving Holiday
What are you doing when school is out for the Thanksgiving holiday? Come be creative during arts and crafts, taste special holiday treats during cooking craft, warm up with active play, and dive into swimming and more during our Thanksgiving holiday Adventure Days. Campers are required to bring a non-refrigerated, non-microwavable lunch and two snacks daily. Also, please remember to bring a swimsuit and towel each day for swimming. Adventure Camp – Spring Break
Spring Break is right around the corner! Join us for Adventure Camp during your Spring Break and participate in exciting activities including sports, crafts, games, swimming and more. Come join us for our fun-filled week of camp!  Campers are required to bring a non-refrigerated, non-microwavable lunch and two snacks daily. Also, please remember to bring a swimsuit and towel each day for swimming.
