Office Help

Location: Recreation Center, 4141 Bailey Road, Pearland 77584
Date: 2 days per week (flexible schedule, but not including Fridays)

  • Shift: 1 or 2 hours per day (flexible schedule, but must end before 4:15 p.m.)
    • Details: Volunteers needed to help with scanning, filing, small projects.

Earth Day Celebration

Location: Southdown Park, 2150 Countryplace Parkway, Pearland 77584
Date: Sat., April 28

 

  • Shift: 9:45 to 2 p.m
    • Details: The event focuses on recycling, conservation and respect for the environment. This year's celebration will include performances by "Vocal Trash", educational booths, Crocodile Encounter, food vendors and volunteers will assist with games, inflates, and more.

Concerts in the Park

Location: Southdown Park, 2150 Countryplace Parkway, Pearland 77584

Date: every Friday in May and June
  • Shift: 6:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
    • Details: Volunteers hand out tickets for door prize drawings while patrons fill out surveys. Event staff will need a few volunteers to help with VIP supplies, the drawings on stage and distributing the winning prizes. Great bands and a fun atmosphere. 

Celebration of Freedom

Location: Pearland High School stadium “The Rig”, 3775 S Main St, Pearland, TX 77581
Date: Wed., July 4 (Decorating day to be determined, either the morning of July 3 or 4)

  • Shift: 5:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (tentatively)
    • Details: Volunteers will assist with games, VIP and band hospitality, shuttles, first aid, security and volunteer check in. Join us for a front row seat to the best fireworks in Pearland and a phenomenal band.

Natural Resources Volunteer Workday 

LocationParks Maintenance Building, 3509 E. Orange St, Pearland, TX 77581

Date: Thursday, May 3

  • Shift: 8 to 11 a.m.
    • Details: We will be working on propagating several species of native grasses and wildflowers being grown for City habitat restoration and improvement projects. 
 

NOTE: Work may be difficult for children under the age of 13 years. Anyone under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
