Nature Center Volunteers
Location: Delores Fenwick Nature Center, 5750 Magonlia Pkwy., Pearland 77584
Date: Saturdays starting May 18, 2019
Shifts: 10 a.m. to 12 noon and/or 12 noon to 2 p.m.
Details: Volunteers will be responsible for working on a variety of projects such as organizing spaces, working with crafts, maintaining the Pollinator Garden and monitoring wildlife.Please see the Natural Resources Workday below for additional projects.

Kidz Korner (childcare)
Location: Recreation Center, 4141 Bailey Rd., Pearland, 77584
Date: Mondays and Wednesdays, starting in Aug. 2018
Shift: 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Details: Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. All volunteer applicants must be registered Parks volunteers (click on Application Process & Policies on left side of this page - it’s easy to apply!). Contact Pat Wiley if you are interested in working with children - reading, interacting and playing games. Kidz Korner volunteers would be a big help from Monday through Friday, with the greatest need for assisting staff on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Concerts in the Park
Location: Southdown Park, 2150 Country Place Pkwy., Pearland, 77584
Dates: Every Friday evening in May & June
Shift: 6:45 to 8:45 p.m.
Details: Volunteers offer free door prize tickets for surveys, assist with the stage selection of door prizes and help distribute the prizes. The bands are great and volunteering for concerts has become very popular!
