Volunteer Appreciation 

We appreciate everyone who monitored the Recreation Center or worked the concerts in May and June.  Earn summer service hours or just have fun helping with the morning decorating on July 3 or evening event July 4. More than 20 (July 3)and 50 (July 4) registered volunteer positions are needed, so request a shift today. You provide a valuable service to the community!

Natural Resources Volunteer Workday 

Upcoming projects: Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail Planting 

Location: 1801 Kingsley Dr, Pearland, TX 77584
Date: Thursday, July 5

  • Shift:  8 to 11 a.m.
    • Details: Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Trail Planting – The Natural Resources Division has been growing several species of native plants for improving the City’s natural habitats. On July 5th, we will be planting some of these plants, including, Iris, Swamp Lily, and a few tree saplings as well. Some of these plants will be going in shallow water so be prepared if you plan to plant these species.

NOTE: Work may be difficult for children under the age of 13 years. Anyone under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult.
